Vienna buys today to meet the needs of tomorrow.
An innovative Viennese company is perhaps just the right partner to enable the city to improve its quality of life even more.
In its role as a consumer of innovative products and services, the City of Vienna could potentially be your next customer.
The WienWin situation
The WienWin (Vienna Wins) initiative is designed to create a systematic exchange of information between the municipal administration and companies owned by the City of Vienna on the one hand, and innovative Viennese companies on the other hand. Jointly thinking ahead contributes to identifying innovation potential for the City of Vienna and simultaneously opens up new market opportunities for the innovation drivers of the Viennese economy.
… for the city
A city which increasingly demands innovation can correspondingly improve its own services and offerings. The platform WienWin offers a market overview of innovative products and services in the most diverse areas of application. Examples include energy-efficient buildings, intelligent traffic management systems, advanced medical infrastructure or the modern design of public space.
… and for companies
Small and medium-sized firms are supported by the City of Vienna in mastering the challenge of launching innovations on the marketplace by serving as one of their first customers. In this way, in its role as a consumer of forward-looking products and services, the City of Vienna becomes a reference customer. The platform established by the WienWin initiative makes all the innovations visible to the City of Vienna.
The WienWin seal of quality encompasses all the product, process or service innovations on the part of Viennese companies which were demonstrably funded within the framework of a regional, national or European program for research, technology and/or innovation, or which was granted certification as an innovative product or service by an expert jury. All Viennese companies can unbureaucratically register their innovations at www.wienwin.at.
