Safe air traffic management
Vienna Airport: at the moment passengers enter the departure terminal, they are dependent on the employees of airline they are flying with. They are responsible for passenger safety on board, as one hears continuously. However, outside of the aircraft, the air traffic controllers are in charge. Their job is to safely navigate the aircraft through the adjacent airspace sectors.
