Saving water in the desert
It is well known that water is in short supply in the desert. The cost and effort involved to green the desert is correspondingly high. A handful of desert foxes from the oasis in Vienna developed and patented an economical irrigation system in 2005. The practical feasibility of HYDRIP® is being tested now in Portugal, with the support of ZIT.
